Specialty items such as Potpourri bowls, cheese platters, nut bowls, memo/receipt clips, different kinds of candle holders and candles are available in some the styles shown below. New additions and creations are constantly being added, so if you don't see what you want, let HTO know and I will attempt to create "that perfect gift" for you. I will provide you with information on what materials are available and the cost.

Ambrosia Maple Tee Light Holder - This "Tee Light" has a glass (tulip shaped) chimney and is mounted upon a piece of Ambrosia Maple. 4" x 11." Prices starting at $30.00 Ambrosia Maple Party Lights - The party lights are liquid paraffin candles incased in a turned piece of Ambrosia Maple. (Pair) 2.5" x 3." Prices starting at $25.00 Zebrawood Cheese Platter - This wood's name in Europe is Zebrano and comes from the West Coast of Africa. It is difficult to obtain wide boards for platters such as displayed. 11.5" x 2." Prices starting at $70.00.

Bowl, Potpourri Birdseye - This potpourri bowl is made of Birdseye Maple and has a pewter cover to allow the potpourri to add its aroma to the surrounding area. 6.5" x 3.5." Prices starting at $40.00 Cedar Paraffin Candles - These liquid paraffin candles are mounted on turned pieces of Aromatic Red Cedar. In Cedar the knots are an enhancement to the variety of the wood. (oval) 3" x 5", $9.00; (tear drop) 3" x 7." Prices starting at $20.00 Walnut Cheese Platter - Black Walnut shows all of the style and richness of the valuable hardwoods. 11.5" x 2." Prices starting at $65.00.

Memo/Recipe Clips - The woods used to create these useful clips are (L to R) Zebrawood, Aromatic Red Cedar, Birch, and Cherry. These clips can be made in other woods upon request. 3" x 5", $15.00 each. Thivels - Thivels are a stirring tools used by the Scots to make their porridge (oatmeal). They have come back into their own popularity as the health concerns have made people include more whole grain foods in their diet. These are made of Cherry (12" long) and finished with mineral oil ($14.00). Because other types of vegetable oils might turn the wood rancid, it is recommended that when needed that they be re-coated with mineral oil. They can be made of Birch or Maple as well ($14.00). They are also great for mixing other foods on the range such as stir fry.
